Using Multi-Cam MAX

The Multi-Cam MAX system relies on your iPad to manage camera settings, configuration and video recording. Once configured, you simply open the camera from within a workspace just like normal, and the app will remember your last connection and automatically pair with and open the fixed camera feed as seen below.

Returning to your built-in Camera on the iPad

You can disconnect from the fixed camera grouping at any time and use the built-in iPad camera as well. Be sure to de-select "Control Device" after disconnecting.

Initial Setup, Camera Focus and Placement

Once you are connected, a low-resolution live preview image is shown which shows the feed from each camera. This view has a ~1s latency and is a lower resolution preview image of the scene. Take care to focus your cameras, going slowly, recording a real video for a couple seconds and check the focus as you dial-in the settings.

In a typical golf studio, the 'down the line' camera and 'face-on' camera placement will result in a view similar to above. Note you can rotate the iPad and the image to get the best fit for your environment.
