Analysis Tools

Skeleton Tracking

Onform's Skeleton Tracking feature uses AI to map the movement of an individual's body. By tracking key points on the body, it provides a visual representation of the athlete’s form and movement patterns. It moves with the athlete, allowing you to see how different joint angles change. Additionally, by tapping on any joint, you can see its angle and toggle between inside and outside angles. This is perfect for spotting areas for improvement in sports technique, ensuring correct posture, or preventing potential injuries.

Side-by-Side Comparison

The Side-By-Side feature allows you to compare two videos simultaneously. This is ideal for comparing different performances, whether it's comparing the technique of two different athletes, before-and-after shots of the same athlete, or analyzing progress over time. It helps in visualizing improvements and identifying areas needing attention.

Overlay

Overlay allows users to superimpose one video over another, providing a direct visual comparison. This feature is useful for highlighting differences in form and technique between different attempts or athletes. By overlaying videos, coaches can give clear, visual feedback on how to adjust movements for better performance.

Drawing Tools

Onform's Drawing Tools enable users to annotate videos with lines, arrows, and other shapes. These annotations can highlight specific areas of interest, illustrate movement paths, or emphasize key points in the analysis. It's a great way to visually communicate feedback and instructions directly on the video.

Angles

The Angles tool allows for the measurement of angles within the video, such as joint angles, trajectory angles, or angles of movement. This is useful for understanding biomechanics or perfecting technique. Accurate angle measurement can lead to improved performance by fine-tuning the precise movements needed in various sports.

Voiceover

Onform's Voiceover feature let users add audio commentary to videos. Coaches can provide real-time feedback, offer detailed explanations, and highlight key points directly within the video. It makes the review process more engaging and informative, helping athletes understand and retain the insights provided during the analysis.

Stopwatch

The Stopwatch tool allows users to time specific segments of a video with precision. This feature is essential for breaking down performance into measurable intervals, analyzing reaction times, or assessing the duration of specific actions within the video. Coaches and athletes can use it to track progress over time and optimize performance.

Measure

With the Measure tool, users can calculate distances and sizes directly from video frames. This is particularly useful for analyzing spatial relationships in sports, such as the distance covered by an athlete, the length of a stride, or the clearance height in a jump. Accurate measurement helps in providing detailed feedback and fine-tuning techniques. To use the measuring tool, you will first calibrate by choosing a point of reference and input a known length of the reference point. From there, all measurements will be in reference to that segment.
